EYE EXAMS

Routine eye exams can detect vision problems, eye disease and general health problems before you are aware a problem exists. American Optometric Association recommended eye exams:		Dr. Sonia Fernandez
Children	• First eye exam at 6 months of age • Age 3 • Start of school • Every 2 years once in school
Adults	• Every 2 years for ages 18-60 • Every year for ages 61+ • Every year for high risk adults with:      Diabetes      High blood pressure      Family history of eye disease      (glaucoma, macular degeneration,      etc.)      Prescription drugs that may have      eye related side effects
